Stew chicken recipe is one of the easiest dishes to cook when you are pressed for time for the whole day. You can cook the stew chicken in the morning and heat it up later either for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

200g chicken
4cloves chopped garlic
2pcs potato
1pc carrot
1can button mushroom
7pcs dried mushroom (soak and cut out the stem)
1can green pea
2pcs medium onions or 1 big onion
700ml water
1tablespoon soy sauce
1tablespoon oyster sauce
2heaps tablespoon corn flour and 3 tablespoon water

Instructions

1. Fry the garlic till brown.
2. Put in the chicken, potato and carrot. Stir fry for about 5-10mins. Transfer the ingredients into a pot.
3. Add button mushroom, green pea, mushroom, water and soy sauce in the pot. Boil all the ingredients with medium flame for about 10mins.
4. Add in onion and oyster sauce. Continue to boil for about 10-15mins.
5. Add in corn starch.
6. Served the stew chicken with a bowl of fragrant rice.
