It is a breeze cooking western soup using this super easy pumpkin soup recipe. Just make sure that you buy the Australia or Japan pumpkin. The taste is sweeter.

Ingredients

  • 650g pumpkin
  • 1 big yellow onion
  • 20g butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh milk

Instructions

  • 1. Cut the pumpkin into smaller sizes.
  • 2. Dice the onions.
  • 3. Steam the pumpkin for 15 minutes.
  • 4. Heat up the wok with butter and stir fry the diced onion till soft.
  • 5. Put the pumpkin and onion into the blender and blend it.
  • 6. Pour the blended pumpkin into pot.
  • 7. Heat up the pot and add water. Continue to stir till boiling.
  • 8. Off the flame and pour in the milk.
  • 9. Serve.
