LadyFinger with Sambal Chilli Recipe

Buy organic ladyfinger (if possible) cos as ladyfinger matures and increases in size, it gets tougher. But, if you know the tricks of choosing “matured” ladyfinger, by all means to buy non-organic ladyfinger. When you cook ladyfinger with sambal chilli recipe, add more sambal chilli if you love it to be more spicy. (see also how to make sambal chilli recipe )

Ingredients

500g cut ladyfinger
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon blended dried shrimps
1 tablespoon oil
3 teaspoons sambal chilli

Instructions

1. Wash and air-dry 100g of dried shrimps. Put it the blender and blend it. Set aside 1 tablespoon of blended dried shrimps. Keep the rest in the fridge for future usage.
2. Heat up the wok with oil. Add garlic and stir fry garlic till slight brown.
3. Add in blended shrimp and sambal chilli.
4. Add in sliced ladyfinger. Slowly continue to stir fry till it almost cook.
5. Add in oyster sauce.
6. If is too dry, add 3 to 4 tablespoons water.
7. Serve.
